Before God asks you to change anything, He wants you to know how much He loves you.

A lot of people think Christianity begins with rules.

It doesn't. It begins with love. God didn't send Jesus because humanity finally got its act together. He sent Jesus because we couldn't. The cross wasn't God's last attempt to save you. It was His first move. You don't have to earn God's attention. You already have it. You don't obey so God will love you. You obey because you've already been loved. If you miss God's love, you'll spend your life trying to earn something He's already given.
